Rike Port

Music has been part of Rike Port’s life for as long as she can remember. What began with singing at home and in a school choir gradually developed into a professional career and a passion she has pursued full-time since 2022. Rike received her vocal training from qualified vocal coach and opera singer Nicole Frankfurter. Following a classical foundation, she developed a particular focus on rock vocals and continues to refine her voice and artistic approach through regular masterclasses. For many years, Rike has performed with a wide variety of bands and musical projects. Her repertoire ranges from intimate, emotional arrangements to powerful pop and rock performances. Rather than simply reproducing a song, she focuses on what makes live music special: emotion, spontaneity and the connection between musicians and audience. Throughout her career, Rike has collaborated with artists including Nicholas Müller (Jupiter Jones), Jini Meyer (Die Lärmer) and Roman Lob (StadtRand). Whenever possible, she prefers performing with live musicians, as she believes music comes alive through interaction, shared energy and the uniqueness of the moment. This philosophy also forms the basis of “Rike & Freunde”. Alongside her performances as Rike Port, she works with an established network of experienced musicians, allowing the line-up to be tailored to each event – from an acoustic duo with guitar or piano to smaller ensembles and a complete live band. Rather than following a rigid setlist, the musicians adapt the repertoire, dynamics and performance to the character of the event and the atmosphere in the room. A performance can begin with intimate, understated moments and gradually develop into an energetic live experience. Whether performing as Rike Port in an intimate setting or as Rike & Freunde with a larger live line-up, the idea remains the same: authentic music, powerful voices and the right song at the right moment.
